There weren’t a huge number of surprises from the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event this morning in San Fransisco.
Almost all of the phone’s specs and details had leaked in the lead up to the announcement anyway.
We’ll be working hard to get our hands on all three models of the new Samsung smartphones: The Galaxy S23, the Galaxy S23 Plus and the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
In the meantime, here are the Australian details on each device, in particular price and where you can buy them.
Let’s talk Galaxy S23 Australian pricing
Buying a new phone outright is always going to be the best value for money in the long run. The downside is that it requires more cash up front.
As you might expect from flagship phones, the Samsung Galaxy S23 family are going to put a dent in your savings.

The good news is that there are a bunch of pre-order offers already in play that won’t necessarily lower the starting prices, but will give you more bang for your buck.

Pre-order deals
There are a huge number of pre-order offers in the market already.
Everywhere you look, Samsung is offering double the storage for pre-ordering. But it’s individual retailers offering their own little bonuses that makes thing interesting.
Amazon is trying to entice Prime customers to pre-order through them for additional promo credit, valued at up to $250. The amount depends on the phone you pre-order.
Samsung is offering a bundle of bonuses with its S23 pre-orders.
If you pre-order the S23 Ultra, you will get double the storage, plus a $250 eVoucher and a bonus $300 on any valid trade-in.
Plus there are a bunch of discounts on accessories should you want to go down that path.
The pre-order bonuses from Samsung for the S23 and S23 Plus are similar. You get double storage, plus a $150 eVoucher to buy accessories. You also get a bonus of up to $250 with an eligible trade-in.
