From a distance you would be hard-pressed to tell that the new Withings ScanWatch Nova was a smartwatch.

It looks like one of those elegant timepieces you see on the back of magazines, worn by famous, handsome men and with price tags that would make you blush.

But it’s not one of those watches. It’s a smartwatch, and an impressively specced on at that.

This luxury diver-style watch offers an on-demand electrocardiogram, SpO2 sensor, 24/7 body temperature and in-depth sleep analysis.

ScanWatch Nova makes continuous measurements autonomous and effortless with an extraordinary 30-day battery life. The splendid timepiece imperceptibly embeds a powerful health scan, with all the cutting-edge innovations to enhance your health, wrapped in a stylish aesthetic inspired by the timeless tradition of diver-style watchmaking”.

Etienne Trégaro, Product Manager at Withings

The ScanWatch Nova is water-resistant to 10 ATM and includes a ceramic and stainless-steel rotating bezel with laser engraved markings.

Its watch face is encased in premium sapphire glass with an anti-reflection coating. For improved readability, the ScanWatch Nova uses a grayscale OLED screen to display notifications.

All of the health tracking features will be communicated to the Withings app, which can offer deeper insights and analysis on your health

Pricing and availability

The Withings ScanWatch Nova will be priced at $799.99 AUD and comes in blue, black and green, with an Oyster metal wristband and FKM wristband which users can easily swap to suit the occasion. It will arrive in stores in late-January.
