Acer launches powerful gaming and productivity laptops: Predator Triton 16 and Swift Edge 16

At Computex overnight, Acer unveiled two highly anticipated laptop models: the Predator Triton 16 and the Swift Edge 16.

These latest additions to Acer’s portfolio promise exceptional performance, advanced cooling capabilities, and cutting-edge features that cater to the evolving needs of gamers and professionals alike.

Predator Triton 16: Geared for gamers

The Predator Triton 16 boasts the latest 13th Gen Intel Core processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPUs.

With up to 32 GB of DDR5 memory, this laptop ensures seamless multitasking and delivers lag-free gameplay.

Acer has also incorporated state-of-the-art cooling technologies, including dual 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D fans, Vortex Flow optimisation, and liquid metal thermal grease, all neatly packaged within an ultra-thin chassis design.

Gamers will relish the 16-inch WQXGA display with thin bezels and an impressive 240 Hz refresh rate, offering vivid and tear-free visuals.

Swift Edge 16: Quick for work

The Swift Edge 16 is designed to cater to the needs of dynamic professionals who prioritise performance and portability.

Powered by AMD Ryzen 7040 Series processors, this laptop delivers next-generation performance and visuals.

Equipped with up to AMD Radeon 780M graphics and AMD Ryzen AI on select models, the Swift Edge 16 harnesses AI capabilities for enhanced user experiences.

Its 16-inch 3.2K OLED display, featuring a 120 Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, and 500 nits peak brightness, promises stunning visuals.

The Swift Edge 16’s lightweight and slim magnesium alloy chassis, measuring a mere 12.95 mm in thickness and weighing just 1.23 kg ensures effortless portability.

The inclusion of Wi-Fi 7 connectivity and Microsoft Pluton security guarantees fast and secure wireless connections along with robust data protection.

Productivity improvements

Both laptops offer an array of features that enhance productivity and user experience. The Predator Triton 16 comes with the PredatorSense key, empowering users to customise the keyboard’s per-key RGB lighting and access management control systems.
