De’Longhi has announced its latest bean-to-cup coffee machine for home coffee aficionados: the La Specialista Arte Evo.

Compact and versatile, the new machine is notable for its ability to create a tasty cold brew in under 5 minutes using the same technology found in the Eletta Explore automatic coffee machine.

The machine will also make a delicious home espresso and a variety of milk-based coffees.

Cold extraction technology

Typically a cold brew takes 24 hours of soaking ground coffee in water to get the soft, smooth drink.

De’Longhi has managed to create the same taste and texture using a dedicated water circuit that bypasses the thermoblock, and combines it with optimised water flow, pressure and lower temperature to create a nicely balanced extraction.

While it’s not exactly the same, the simplicity of having the ability to make a cold brew in under five minutes is an incredible addition to the appliance.

Other features

Of course, there’s more to the La Specialista Arte Evo than just cold brew. Three pre-set recipes make it easy to brew an espresso, a long black or a cold brew.

Eight grind settings allow you to adjust the grind level to match your coffee beans for the perfect flavour extraction, plus a full barista kit in the box helps you get the perfect dose without making a mess every time.

The manual steam wand lets you quickly and easily create perfect microfoam for your milk-based coffees as well, while three infusion temperature profiles give the ability to match the temperature to the beans.

Pricing and availability

The De’Longhi La Specialista Arte Evo is available now at an RRP of $999.00, though you can grab it for less online now.
